CAN “WE” UNITE TO DELIVER A CHAIR, A COMPUTER …A VAN?Calling all Skydivers: Our
skydiving brother, Chad Madden was involved in a skydiving accident on 9 March 2012 at
Lake Elsinore, CA. He has been in the hospital since the accident. Chad is recovering from extensive injuries resulting in paralysis (quadrapeligic). He is currently being treated in Atlanta, GA.Chad’s long term medical needs are going to require 24 hour care for quite some time and that is why this
Skydivers Unite SOS Alert has been dispatched. Specifically, our goal with this SOS Alert is to enable Chad’s family to purchase the custom made wheelchair ($15,000) and computer ($6,000) needed for the chair to operate. If we can do more, he needs a van that will cost in excess of $50,000 as well.SOS Alerts are only dispatched for the most severe qualifying situations. As such, if YOU can give a jump ticket ($25) or if you are able to give more, we can do so much to aid Chad and his family if we all UNITE and chip in a little. Either click the green “Donate Now” button to the right or send gifts via PayPal to this email:
DonateChadMadden@gmail.com. Please share this alert and thank you for your commitment to this alert network.
Skydivers Unite is the worldwide alert system that brings the skydiving community together in the event of a critical accident involving paralysis, amputees, intensive care, or worse. This is the third qualifying SOS Alert of this endeavor. We have gained over 3,000 skydiving members from over 35 countries since our July 1, 2011 launch. Our ultimate goal is 20,000 members each pledging when an SOS Alert is dispatched. Until we reach that goal, early members are doing the heavy lifting, so please give $15, or if possible, a “jump ticket” donation of $25. For the cost of a single jump, you can greatly assist Chad. Please do all you can to promote SkydiversUnite.org within your skydiving community and on facebook by posting our link in your status. BLUE SKIES!
